FUSE EXTENSION LEADS
Do you need to measure the current through a circuit but can’t find anywhere on the vehicle where you can connect your current clamp?
Fuse extension leads are a simple accessory that can save you valuable time.
Fuse extension leads are quick and easy to use: simply remove the fuse (of the circuit you wish to test) from your fusebox and replace it with a fuse extension lead. Now insert the fuse into the extension lead. To measure the current drawn, just connect your Pico current clamp to the extension lead.

Connector Breakout Leads
This connector breakout lead enables you to take voltage readings from the numerous sensors and actuators in the engine compartment. Simply connect the breakout lead into the existing cable loom, and then take the output signal from the 4 mm banana plugs into the automotive oscilloscope using one of the TA125 to TA128 premium test leads. The breakout cable gives access to the individual wires to allow probing with current clamps. For example, this allows both injector current and injector voltage to be captured.
Note: the test lead is required to convert the 4 mm banana plug connection on the connector breakout leads to a BNC connector suitable for plugging into the PicoScope.
Connecting the connector breakout leads
**Please read these instructions before using the connector breakout leads.**
The signal pins must be identified by wiring diagrams or other means.
Regardless of the number of pins, Pico connector breakout lead colours are manufactured as follows:
Pin 1 - Green
Pin 2 - Red
Pin 3 - Blue
Pin 4 - Yellow
Pin 5 - White
Pin 6 - Black
It may be possible to cause a short circuit to the oscilloscope unit if incorrect connections are made! A short circuit could seriously damage the unit and will require it to be repaired at your own cost.

2-Pin AMP connector breakout lead (TA012)
The TA012 AMP breakout lead enables you to take voltage readings from the numerous 2-pin sensors and actuators in the engine compartment. Simply connect the breakout lead into the existing cable loom, and then take the output signal from the two 4 mm banana plugs into the automotive oscilloscope using one of the TA125 to TA128 premium test leads. The breakout cable gives access to the individual wires to allow probing with current clamps. For example, this allows both injector current and injector voltage to be captured.
Note: the test lead is required to convert the 4 mm banana plug connection on the TA012 to a BNC connector suitable for plugging into the PicoScope.

6-Way Universal Breakout Leads
PP943
Pico’s universal 6-way breakout leads eliminate the need to own many specific breakout leads for engine diagnostics. The breakout leads are available with four different sizes of connectors, allowing you to connect to virtually any sensor in the engine compartment—of any vehicle—using just four leads. Never again will you need to search your workshop for that expensive vehicle/sensor specific lead.
The breakout lead is simply connected into the existing cable loom and enables voltage readings to be taken from the numerous sensors in the engine compartment. The output signal can then be taken from the 4 mm banana plugs into the input of the PicoScope oscilloscope using the TA000 test lead.
